Drug Inspector Job Central Drug Standard Control Organization Ground Department of Health and Family Welfare Ministry of Health
Job Responsibility
- Inspection of all licensed drugs manufacturing establishments
- Inspection of the plant and the process of manufacture, the means employed for standardizing and testing the drug,
- Inspection of the methods and place of storage, the technical qualifications of the staff etc.
- Investigation of cases of spurious drugs and related complaints
- Launching of prosecutions for breaches of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules
